Blizzard and snow storm on geneva this week, cold and ice all over the place, slippery pathways, cars covered in ice, just the best day for a photo outing ... i really think Sam our 3 year old daughter at the time must have hated me.

Today was an incredible experience, it has been really cold these last few days around the geneva area. we have been hit with 120 km/hour winds and with a -10°C temperature during the night and not really increasing during the day.

This resulted in some frost, a lot of ice and quite a few impressive shots around the lake, nature is just impressive, reminding us every day that we are nothing on this planet, and just placing us where we stand.

After this cold, the sun was coming out, and i decided to go to the lake with our little toddler, it was -5°C and no wind... but the cold was biting. we were slipping around but i had quite a lot of fun... not sure that she did so much, and after 45mn of walking around, i took a few shots with her, she was braving the cold and was just awsome... but as you'll see on her face... i think it was time to go home for a hot chocolate and a bun :
